Customers can tag their favorite driver. When they request a ride or delivery pickup, the tagged driver receives the request first, as a priority.
SOS
The KROOZ® SOS panic button can be pressed by the rider or driver to start a phone call in an emergency. It appears on the app screen during every trip for immediate access.
Stop & Wait
Drivers earn extra when a customer asks them to stop and wait during the trip.
When Stop & Wait starts, a digital clock tracks the waiting time, and the customer is billed for it.

KROOZ® ride & delivery service fees.
Pay in the app — not with cash
KROOZ® drivers don't accept cash and don't carry any, for safety reasons. Pay your ride and delivery fees with any accepted bank card, credit card, debit card or bank transfer in the KROOZ® app.
KROOZ® has a cash option, but for security reasons we don't recommend paying cash. Drivers also lose money on cash trips, because features like Stop & Wait may not be calculated with cash payments.
See your fare before you book
You'll see your estimated ride fare or delivery fee before booking. When the trip ends, a trip summary is sent to you by SMS or email.

Request your ride when you're ready to take the trip.
Cancellation fee applies
If you cancel a ride or delivery request after a KROOZ® driver has been dispatched, you'll be charged a cancellation fee based on the vehicle type you ordered.
No-show fee applies
When your driver arrives you'll get a text. If you don't meet the driver within 3 minutes, the trip is cancelled automatically and you're charged a no-show fee. Cancelled rides can't be reversed.
To still take the trip, request again — since the driver is already there, we'll pair you with the same driver or the next one available.
No drugs, marijuana/cannabis, open alcohol or weapons
These are never allowed in a KROOZ® vehicle. If a driver sees or smells any of them, they may end the trip without refund, and a ban may be placed on your account. Visit our policy page.
Drivers may not smoke or drink alcohol in the vehicle while driving for KROOZ®. If this is reported and confirmed, the driver's account is deactivated.
KROOZ® prohibits sexual harassment
We do not tolerate sexual harassment of any KROOZ® rider by a driver. Drivers are expected to behave professionally. If an incident is reported, the driver's account is suspended and blocked, and legal action may follow.
